Welcome to the Extravayarnza Yarn Shop.
I'm thrilled to be able to present my hand dyed yarns and rovings. I've been dyeing yarns and selling them in the Lansing, MI area for over 5 years. I've developed my colorways with an eye to the final knitted project not just to look pretty in the skein.
When you look at my color pages you'll find that I've separated my colorways into three types:
Random Dyes
These colorways blend 2 to 3 colors together in a unique pattern on each skein to create a truly non-pooling yarn.
Color Blocks
These colorways use bolder colors together and need to be dyed in a particular order to keep the colors pure. There is a chance these colors might pool.
Shaded Solids
These colorways are similar to kettle dyes. I love using these colors for Fair Isle and other types of colorwork.
When you place an order you'll choose the colorway you want on your choice of yarn. I do keep many of my yarns in stock, but often they are dyed to order. Please understand that this means your order may take 2-3 weeks to ship. I strive to make the process as quick as possible and I will alert your if there are any unexpected delays.
